How to connect with a specialist on Maple.

First, select a specialist

Log in to Maple and click the "Get care" button. You'll be prompted to select a GP or specialist. Depending on the specialist you've chosen, you'll be taken through a short intake form, including when you'd like to see the specialist and your symptoms.

The app then uses your location to match you with a licensed specialist. Depending on the specialty, you can either book an appointment or request to have a consultation as soon as possible — if so, you’ll hear back from the specialist within 12-72 hours based on the service.

Next, you'll hear from the specialist

Once the specialist reviews your request, they’ll determine whether they can help you on Maple. If they're able to help, your visit will start, either right away or at the scheduled time.

If they cannot help, your visit won't start and you won't be charged. The practitioner will let you know if you need to seek in person care, or visit a family practice or walk-in clinic instead.

Start your visit

You can speak with the specialist through live chat, audio, or video depending on the specialty.

Many benefit programs cover healthcare consultation fees, so check with your benefits provider to see if you’re covered. Your practitioner’s license number will always be on your Maple receipt.

If you see a medical specialist on Maple, they have the ability to diagnose and provide treatment recommendations. You'll receive any prescriptions or treatment plans digitally in the Maple app. Prescriptions are automatically faxed to the pharmacy of your choice. We also offer free delivery to your address.

Note: Maple is not a pharmaceutical manufacturer, nor are we an online pharmacy.
