Not a live doctor’s visit

Felix is based on prescription requests rather than healthcare provider consultations.

Users send in a prescription request, a licensed healthcare provider reviews it within 24 hours and if a medication is prescribed, it’s filled by a registered pharmacist. Questions about your health can’t be asked prior to requesting a prescription. They can only be asked by the healthcare provider after reviewing your request 24 hours later if they require more information.

Prescription changes are limited

In many cases, you must have already been prescribed medication by a doctor to get a prescription on Felix.

This means you may not find the right prescription for your needs.

Not available Canada-wide

Felix isn’t available to those living in New Brunswick, Quebec, or the Northwest Territories.

Depending on where you live, you may not be able to use Felix.

Restrictive prescription choices

Felix has a limited variety of prescriptions – some conditions they offer prescriptions for are acne and migraines.

Depending on what kind of prescription you’re looking for, you might not be able to get it on Felix.
