Here’s how our doctors can help you

24/7 access to doctors

Maple connects you with a Canadian-licensed healthcare providers so you can get care whenever you need it.

Employer / insurance coverage is available, otherwise visits start at $49, as many of our services aren’t covered under provincial health plans due to our use of secure messaging, nurse practitioners, and a national doctor network. We also offer specialists in several provinces such as dermatologists, endocrinologists, pediatricians, and more. Our doctors, nurse practitioners, and healthcare providers are well respected, Canadian-licensed family or emergency medicine practitioners passionate about delivering outstanding healthcare and can treat many common medical issues including sore throat, sprains and minor injuries, erectile dysfunction, and more.

Direct access to doctors

We created Maple to remove as many barriers as possible that stand in the way of seeing a doctor when you need one. That's why we provide the fastest real-time online connection to a doctor in Canada.

Maple directly sends your request to our network of physicians in real-time, so they can review and respond to you quickly.

Secure text chat, audio and video — you choose

With Maple, you get to choose how you want to interact with the healthcare provider from your phone, tablet, or computer.

If you’re in BC and you have a BC Services Card, you can request a video consultation at no charge to you. Learn more.

Need to schedule your own appointment

WELL Health VirtualClinic+ does not offer on-demand visits. You must be willing to wait for a video consultation with a doctor.

Depending on the availability of physicians, your appointment may not occur instantly.

You must choose your own doctor

You must find and select the doctor you want to see from hundreds of different physicians, which complicates the booking process.

This means it may take more time for you to find the right physician, then schedule an appointment with them.

No text chat available

To use Well Health VirtualClinic+, you must schedule a video or audio consultation with a physician.

No text option is given when booking an appointment. You won’t get the option of having a consultation strictly over text messaging if this is what you prefer.

Not available Canada-wide

If you live in British Columbia, access to physicians on Well Health VirtualClinic+ may be limited.

This may make it more difficult to find the right physician.
