Maple Accessibility Policy

We’re fully committed to making our organization and services as accessible as possible for all. Equity is our guiding principle as we carry out our mission of building a connected healthcare experience for patients and practitioners.

We promise to apply the highest standards of inclusion, respect, autonomy, and equal opportunity in everything we do, and for everyone we serve. When it comes to our work environment, we’re dedicated to fostering positivity, compassion, dignity, and independence for all.

Legal Accessibility Obligations and Standards

We have a duty to comply with applicable accessibility legislation and regulation including:

  • the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (“AODA”);
  • the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.0 level AA standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium;
  • human rights legislation.

Our Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

We created a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan starting in 2021 and ending in 2026 to address applicable AODA requirements. This plan outlines the steps we’ve already taken to make our organization more accessible, and it includes future commitments we’ll make to further address accessibility challenges.
