The service has been amazing for our family. The doctors are kind, thorough, and ask all the right questions. As a busy family of five, this app has been a life saver
Super impressed with this service. Without a family doctor, it’s easy to feel alone with no care. Very thankful to have options.
So fast and efficient. A process that would have ordinarily involved a referral and a six months wait was completed in less than 72 hours. Wholeheartedly recommend Maple.
At 1:30 am, I realized I had a UTI and was desperate for help. I went online and within ten minutes, I had my prescription faxed to my pharmacy. This service gave me peace of mind.
Maple was there for me when other doctors couldn't be. So convenient. Any time, any day. I am grateful for this service.
We needed to see a doctor over the weekend as our pediatrician was not available. Logging into Maple and choosing from a selection of specialties was quick and easy. Excellent service!
Very easy to navigate Maple. It’s secure and trusted. Maple has truly gone above and beyond with their app. Highly recommended.
Amazing service! It was great being able to connect with a doctor from the comfort of home late at night.
If it wasn't for this service, I would be clogging up the emergency rooms for a prescription refill. A much needed service in my area.
With my asthma flare-up, I needed a specialist and found one here. The doctor improved my treatment and explained everything in a very clear way.
Frequently Asked Pricing Questions
Why do I have to pay if I'm Canadian?
Fees apply for our general practitioner services that aren’t covered by provincial governments. That being said, fees may not apply if you have benefits coverage through your insurer or employer.
In Quebec, Maple works with private doctors practicing outside of RAMQ in our direct-to-patient services.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, including AMEX cards, as well as Google and Apple Pay.
Can I use my employer's health insurance plan to pay for my consultation?
Our online medical consultations and memberships are covered under many existing private healthcare plans, including Healthcare Spending Accounts. When you purchase a visit or membership, we send you an email receipt, which you can submit to insurers for reimbursement if this is something that’s available to you.
When do you charge my credit card?
When you request a consultation through Maple, we’ll first advise you of the cost of the visit before connecting you with a physician. You won’t be charged until your consultation is complete.
If a doctor receives your request and doesn’t believe they can help you on Maple, you’ll be notified right away and your credit card won’t be charged.
For a membership purchase, your payment card will be charged immediately.
What if my concerns are not suitable for virtual care?
The Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) has issued standards around the necessary conditions for carrying out virtual care encounters. As a result, physicians practicing virtual care in Quebec must first clearly determine whether a situation is compatible and appropriate for a virtual care assessment. If the physician cannot provide care, they may choose to reject the consultation, in order to be compliant with guidelines.
If a provider begins your consultation and determines you require in-person assessment, the physician will guide you on next steps. Please note additional fees will be applied by the clinic for their services.
