Can you tell us more about your medical background and education?
I consult with patients worldwide about their cancer diagnosis and treatments in the world of oncology. I completed my medical schooling at the University of British Columbia. This was followed by five years of sub-specialty training and research in Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto. All told I’ve spent 15 years researching cancer in laboratories and clinical settings. I’ve also worked in clinics and hospitals in many different countries, published numerous research papers and won national and international research awards for my work in the cancer medicine setting.
What’s your favourite part about practising on Maple?
I’m able to connect with patients across the country in real-time. It brings reassurance for patients to speak with a healthcare provider at the exact time they need it most. Many patients appear to be more at ease when speaking with a healthcare provider from the comfort of their own home. The opportunity for family members to easily join the conversation often proves helpful as well, as they can help with taking important notes. These are some of the many reasons why I enjoy working with patients on Maple.
What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy outdoor adventures like running, golf, cycling, skiing and traveling - especially if mountains or an ocean are nearby!

This was the best thing i've ever come across. I downloaded the app and one hour later had completed an appointment with a dermatologist who then faxed over 2 prescriptions to my pharmacy.
