Increasing access to healthcare for rural and remote communities.

Maple Maskawâhtik is an Indigenous-owned company focused on delivering culturally appropriate virtual care through collaboration with diverse communities across Canada.

Our national network of doctors and nurse practitioners are available 24/7 through your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Requesting a consultation on Maple is easy.

First, describe your symptoms

Log in to Maple and click the "Get care" button. Simply enter a description of your medical request.

The app then uses your location to match you with a physician licensed to treat you, and you'll hear from the doctor in a couple of minutes.

Visits are often covered by benefits packages and healthcare spending accounts. If you don’t have employer or insurer coverage, fees may apply since many of our services aren’t covered by provincial health plans. This is often because of our use of secure messaging and a national network of doctors and nurse practitioners.

If payment is required, visits for lab tests start at $69.

Next, you'll hear from the doctor

Once the doctor reviews your request, they will determine whether they can help you on Maple. If they're able to help, your visit will start right away through text. The doctor may also request video or audio chat if it will help with your diagnosis.

If the doctor cannot help, you will be advised to visit a doctor in-person instead.

You'll receive any prescriptions digitally in the Maple app. Prescriptions are automatically faxed to your pharmacy.
