This 4–5 minute questionnaire helps you understand what's going on and confirm whether the Beyond ADHD program is the right next step for you or one of your dependents. It isn't a pass/fail test: you can always book a full paid Assessment with an NP regardless of your result, and you'll be supported no matter what you find out. If your answers point to something other than ADHD, we'll recommend the right next step for you

One ADHD program. Three steps.
One dedicated care team.
Step 1
ADHD Assessment
A comprehensive clinical interview with an NP, including a cognitive assessment and symptom questionnaire, to determine whether ADHD — or something else — may be present.
If you’re insured under a Desjardins Insurance group plan, your price is
Regularly: $279

Step 2
Diagnosis and Treatment Plan
Your NP reviews all assessment results, confirms a diagnosis (where appropriate), and provides a complete written report — including next steps and, if appropriate, a personalized treatment approach.
Your price:
Regularly: $179
Step 3
Follow-Up Care
Ongoing visits with the same NP to monitor progress, adjust your treatment approach, and renew prescriptions as needed.
Price:

You'll see the same NP throughout your care, whenever possible.
The Beyond ADHD program is here to champion you, not ask you to change.

No referral. No waitlist.
Get started in days, not months or years.

A dedicated ADHD care team.
Every Nurse Practitioner (NP) on Beyond ADHD specializes in ADHD diagnosis and treatment, and follows the same clinical guidelines used across Canada — set by CADDRA (the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance), the national body of ADHD experts.

Care that looks at the whole picture.
Your NP also takes the time to screen for related concerns like anxiety, depression, or sleep issues, and connects you to the right next step, whenever it's needed.

Support that doesn't stop at diagnosis.
Stay with your care team for ongoing management, medication adjustments, and workplace or school accommodation letters.

My experience with Beyond ADHD has been excellent. I was able to get appointments quickly. [My NP] has been great to work with to balance my medications in a way that has improved my quality of life.

I wish I had come to Beyond ADHD months ago, as the experience has been great. The people have all been friendly and helpful, and most importantly, I was quickly assessed to start getting help.

Common questions
The Beyond ADHD program
Yes. A Beyond ADHD assessment is a real clinical evaluation, led by Canadian-licensed nurse practitioners who specialize in ADHD. They follow established clinical guidelines, taking the time to review your history, understand your symptoms and reach a considered diagnosis.
Beyond ADHD's care team is made up of Canadian-licensed nurse practitioners (NPs) who specialize in ADHD diagnosis and care. You can review each NP's bio before you book, and continue with the same NP throughout your care, pending availability.
Yes. If you've already been diagnosed, start with the Assessment. Your NP will take the time to understand your history and current treatment, then work with you on next steps, including prescription renewals if clinically appropriate. Having details of your previous diagnosis and treatment on hand will help.
You're not defined by a single diagnosis, and neither is your care. Beyond ADHD practitioners screen for a number of related concerns, including depression and anxiety, sleep concerns, substance use, trauma and early life stress, and autism spectrum disorder. Beyond ADHD doesn't diagnose these additional conditions itself; if one is suspected, you'll be referred to an appropriate specialist for further assessment. The program's focus stays on ADHD assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management.
Your Desjardins Insurance group plan may cover certain costs related to the assessment, diagnostic appointment, and report delivery, depending on the coverage provided under your extended healthcare benefits. These costs, as well as follow-up consultations, may also be reimbursed through your Health Spending Account (HSA), if you have one. After each consultation, you’ll receive an itemized invoice that you can submit for reimbursement.
Speed is one of the biggest differences Beyond ADHD makes: most patients get their first available appointment within days — not weeks — with no waitlist or referral required. From there, most patients complete their full journey, from Assessment to a completed Diagnosis and Treatment Plan, in a matter of weeks rather than months. Exact turnaround can vary by province, NP availability, and individual circumstances.
Availability & Eligibility
Beyond ADHD is available in every Canadian province, plus Nunavut. It is not currently available in Yukon or the Northwest Territories. As Maple continues to expand availability, this page will be updated.
Beyond ADHD supports both children/youth and adults. The child and youth pathway covers ages 6–17 (a parent or guardian must be present for visits); anyone 18 and over uses the adult pathway. Eligibility for spouses and dependents follows your Desjardins Insurance plan's definitions.
Pricing & Insurance
If you’re insured under a Desjardins Insurance group plan: ADHD Assessment $237 (regularly $279), Diagnosis and Treatment Plan $152 (regularly $179), Follow-Up Care $99 per visit.
Beyond ADHD does not have its own pharmacy and does not offer prescription delivery or shipping — because Beyond ADHD prescribes stimulant medications (controlled substances), prescriptions cannot legally be shipped or delivered. You'll pick up your prescription in person at a pharmacy of your choice, anywhere in Canada. If you're prescribed a stimulant, you'll be asked to route your prescriptions to a single pharmacy of your choosing, as a standard safety measure.
In Canada, provincial health insurance plans don't cover the services offered through Beyond ADHD, just as they don't cover those of other health professionals such as psychologists or physiotherapists. Since coverage depends on your insurance plan, the best thing to do is check the details of your policy or ask your insurer directly. If a treatment plan is recommended for you, your practitioner can explain the different options, and your pharmacy and insurer can confirm which prescriptions your plan covers. Even if your plan doesn't cover these services, as someone insured under a Desjardins Insurance group plan, you still have access to this preferential rate.
If you’re insured under a Desjardins Insurance group plan, you access Beyond ADHD directly through this page; no separate Maple membership is required.
Security & Privacy
Yes. Your visits with Canadian-licensed nurse practitioners are private, confidential, and secure, whether by text, audio, or video. Your personal health information is protected in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
